Brainsights is a Toronto-based tech company that provides businesses with insights into how their content – programming, advertisements, and communications – is consumed. We use portable EEG devices to examine how the brain responds to content. Our communities of paid participants across North America and Europe provide the data that fuels our insights products.

About the position
Your primary objective will be to deliver world-class insights to a growing roster of clients representing the very best of Canadian and global marketing and media.
You’ll be analyzing large datasets and generating insights, delivering these in actionable and compelling narratives to grow client businesses.
Salary range: $55k - $75k; commensurate with experience
Our ideal candidate
You have an insatiable curiosity to understand humans and the human experience.
You have a strong interest and passion for advertising, communications, media, content and/or entertainment.
You know your way around a dataset and have superior attention to detail, time management and communication skills.
You’re methodical in your approach to data analysis, yet intellectually nimble and flexible - with a test and learn mentality.
When needed, you know how to develop methodologies to answer tough problems.
You are comfortable presenting your work, reasoning and approach to large groups of key stakeholders.
You have an interest in tackling complex issues, and a demonstrable ability to write compelling trend reports and summaries for public consumption.
You have a desire to become a leader.
You’ve demonstrated a strong interest in publicly sharing innovative thinking in research.
You have at least 4 years experience in insights, research or analytics roles at an agency, media company or advertiser, working to service a range of stakeholders and research objectives.
Fluency in other languages, especially French.
Experience with data visualization software/tools
